The steering committee and advisory board of the FUNDTEC –project nominated Watrec Ltd. as a Best Practise cleantech company in their meeting at Brussels last December.  FUNDETEC is a consortium-based project conducting research project to provide a comprehensive mapping and analysis of financial instruments that fund the development and deployment of environmental and clean technologies. FUNDETEC consists of six consortium partners with specific expertise in finance, technology development, and public policy. According the advisory boards opinion the Best Practise listed cleantech companies represent the top technology developing companies that have been used their financial instruments effectively. The list consists of 14 other companies from Europe and North-America. Watrec Ltd. is the only Finnish company on the list.
