Wastewater and process water treatment

Watrec Ltd offers the state-of-the-art technology to industrial wastewater treatment and to industrial process water treatment. Our working and cost-efficient treatment system solutions are based on strong combination of long practical experience and scientific know-how. A wide range of different laboratory and pilot scale tests units and systems are available to ensure that the designed solution fulfils the customer’s needs. The core of our business is in the knowledge in biology, chemistry, and physics to understand the phenomena behind the treatment system. Practice from operating different processes has additional value especially in engineering aspect; to design a working solution we need to understand also the operation of different equipments, maintenance procedures, and cases with process upsets. 
 
For industrial process water treatment we offer consulting services and cost efficient treatment systems. In process water treatment we especially seek the possibilities to reduce the use of chemicals by designing systems that has minimum chemical consumption or avoid the necessity to use chemicals at all.
 
Membro®

The Membro® process is a treatment system designed by Watrec Ltd for especially wastewaters with high levels of ammonia and organics. In Membro® process both biological and physical processes are combined together to produce a cost-efficient operation and excellent removal rates for ammonia, COD, solids, and phosphorus. This system has been successfully tested in full scale anaerobic digestion facility.
